Organic India's Tulsi - Pomegranate Green

So it being 11:30 AM New Years Day, I thought I'd start off rehydrating with a randomly chosen tea. I chose Organic India's Tulsi - Pomegranate Green.

Initial observations:
Damn this puppy smells good, but it looks the same as yesterday's tea, so once again 0/10 for presentation. If this tastes bad, it could possibly be either that the tea is also another gross one, or my mug is the thing that tastes bad. Hmm, note to self: should fix tomorrow.

Look at it, just sitting there, staring at me. I just need five
more minutes to psych myself up enough to drink it. Grrr

First thoughts on the first sips:
Tastes like watered down pomegranate, even though I don't actually know what that is or what one tastes like; it's like a shy child asking a question meekly to a scary teacher. Apparently this contains caffeine so it might get me out of this New Years Day slump where I've had three hours sleep and enough alcohol to sterilise a small nation's medical utensils.

Many sips later:
I kind of don't know why I'm still drinking this, I mean it's basically just hot water, which I'm not particularly fond of, maybe I just don't want to waste it, maybe if I keep drinking it I'll finally get the joke that everyone else seems to be in on but me.

Modifications:
Added the only cordial we had: lemon, lime and bitters, about a tablespoon. Considerably better.

Recommendation:
The only time I would recommend this is if you were a death row worker, and you wanted to play a cruel joke with a prisoners last meal.

Final words:
Right now I'm thinking the common denominator is tea being too weak for my taste, because I'm not having the tea bag in long enough. I will fix this for tomorrow.
